The Brykerwoods project featured above is just one example of its stunning award-winning work. The homeowners wanted to update their house with a fresh contemporary design fit for their busy lifestyle. The team at David Wilkes Builders kept the white wall color consistent throughout the house to give the home its clean, uncluttered look. This was spiced up with some sleek, custom wood cabinetry in the kitchen, topped with quartz countertops, aqua tile backsplash, and even a cozy nook at the right of the kitchen to give the folks some space to do work. This project won the 2013 Max Awards, Best Remodeled Project Under 200k, Best Kitchen Remodel Under 75K, the 2013 NARI Awards Kitchen Remodel ‘Contractor of the Year’ (National), Addition ‘Contractor of the Year’ (Regional), and the Kitchen Remodel ‘Contractor of the Year’ (Regional).

Founded in 2001, Realty Restoration is an award-winning remodeling firm known for its acclaimed work on renovation and expansions. Meanwhile, Christopher joined in January 2009 and is a registered architect in Texas with rich experience in designing not just high-end homes but also hospitals and condo projects. With such a strong team, Realty Restoration has earned itself several awards for its great work like the 2020 National Award: Best Residential Kitchen Remodel in the $60,001 to $100,000 category from NARI, the 2020 Regional Contractor of the Year Award: Best Entire House over $1 million, the 2020 Regional Contractor of the Year Award: Best Addition over $250k from Austin NARI, and the 2020 Regional Contractor of the Year Award: Best Residential Kitchen over $150,000 from Austin NARI.

A glimpse of the company’s stellar work is in The Deepwoods Drive project pictured above, which was featured on the 2019 Austin NARI Tour of Remodeled Homes. The home boasts a wonderful new layout with a transitional farmhouse motif and was originally a 1970 square foot ranch house with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with closed-off rooms and low slung ceilings. Realty Restoration did its magic and removed walls that divided the public spaces and created a small dining nook, a nice closed-off kitchen, and an adorable breakfast area. Since the old layout hardly gave the owners a “suite”, Realty Restoration also designed a new wing of the house with a private master suite, an office/multi-purpose room, and a centrally located powder room. The result of this entire remodel and addition is a 2870 square foot home with 5 bedrooms, 3-½ baths, plus an office space.

The team at Canyon Construction took the property all the way down and later added 900 square feet to the existing property.  The team then transformed the kitchen and living room by taking out the back wall to create a more open space, and later installed brand new drywall and flooring throughout the new contemporary-style home.

This same high-level attention to details can be seen in the Westlake Remodel + Addition project featured above. This gorgeous remodel in the Lost Creek Neighborhood was created after the original house was taken down to the studs. The project could not have been possible without the outstanding design and project management skills of Alice Arterberry of Arterberry Cooke Architecture.
